RESPONSIBILITIES:
Having 12 to 15 years experience and capable of handling EPC projects for Refinery, Oil and Gas and Petro chemical etc.
Inspection/Expediting co-ordination activities of EPC projects involving static / rotating equipment, electrical, Instrumentation and piping.
Review of ITP & preparing Inspection plans, preparing Inspection request’s to assign to a third party inspector.
Review and furnishing comments for WPS/PQR, NDT procedures and Job procedures
Monitor and control all inspection requirements. Co-ordination of inspection schedules and receipt/review of Inspection reports.
Issue of Inspection Release notice after completion of Inspection activities.
Conversant with inspection activities of Pressure Vessels (ASME U, U2 & S Stamp), Columns, Heat Exchangers, Industrial Boilers etc as per ASME, ANSI, TEMA and pressure piping as per ANSI B31.3 and Pipe Fittings.
Conversant with various International codes like ASME BPV codes, ASME B31.3, AWS & API 1104 etc.
Conversant with fabrication/welding/inspection requirements of various materials like Carbon Steels, Low Alloy Steels, Stainless Steels & Non Ferrous Steel
Conversant with various NDT procedures like RT, UT, MT and PT
Conversant with ISO 9000:2000 Quality Management System
Evaluation of Suppliers and Subcontractors QMS system.
Having multi company experience and exposure to various work procedures & practices and to adapt well to meet the specific client requirements.
Expediting Vendor Document Records and maintain the status.
Monitoring of Production schedules inline with the contractual requirements.
Making expediting visits, preparing expediting reports and reporting latest progress development and delivery status for the main orders and critical sub- orders.
Issue of Shipping Release notice after completion of Inspection activities and prior to shipping.
Possess good communication / written skills, good at organizing skills and able to lead a team of members.
Required Inspection Qualification / Certifications:
Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) by AWS
CSWIP 3.1 Authorized Welding Inspector by TWI-UK
ASNT NDT Level II in RT, UT, PT & MPT
ISO 9000: 2000 Internal Auditor Course
Coating Inspector Level-2 (NACE)
Education Requirement:
Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical
